Session 026 - 11.08.25

Brigganock Mine -> Ravenwish Chasm

Molliver and Trig led the party to the Rivenwish Chasm and the challenge to pass.

The Bridge

Entering the chasm they encountered the bridge

• The Challenge: Make it across the bridge.
  • 3 flameskulls rose up from the depths and hovered 5'-10' above the bridge, off to the side.
  • They crowded around the end of the bridge and Ophelia touched the bridge with one foot, they were promptly hit with a fireball.
  • Attempting to get across the bridge, Ophelia was knocked unconscious while others in the party took varying amounts of damage. Kiros healed Ophelia and ushered her to the other side of the bridge.
  • 10 attempted to sprint the remainder of the bridge with the hope of sliding between everyone's legs, but she hit a board on the bridge and was launched off the side. Rell managed to save her with a Vortex Warp.
  • Natalia and Veer hung back, watching them. Once the first four were across, they were both able to sprint across safely.

Obud's Grotto

Obud's hut sits atop the back of a pony named Keg. 10 knocked on the door and the elderly brigganock pops up and sits down in his rocking chair.

• 10 fed Keg some snacks and became friends with him.
• Obud agrees to a parlay with the Korreds and will reward the party with access to the tunnel to Motherhorn.
  • They were told scouts would be near Lockbury Henge waiting for the signal to come forward once the party convinced Queen Argantle everything is safe.

They depart the grotto.

• Ajak, brings them their wishes from the carnival.
  • Veer, 10, Rell all agree to having their stones polished into gems.
    • Rell left his rapier to have his mounted into the pommel.

They depart the mines.

The Inn At The End Of The Road! Part Deux

As the party leaves the mines they run into The Inn At The End Of The Road again.

• 10 and Ophelia notice, as the house drops to the ground, it has chicken feet.
• Veer is aware of historical folklore about Baba Yaga and her Hut.
  • Baba Yaga: The Mother of All Hags, The First Crone, The Great Teacher.
  • She has 3 personas: The Mother, The Wicket and The Hungry.
  • He warns them to be careful.

Entering The Inn

They are greeted by Tsu Harabrax, as soon as they enter. She playfully tries to convince them to give her their names, but Rell realizes and declines.

A few of the members attempt to barter for a reading, but the only one who got one was Rell. During this, 10 realizes that the cards are extremely powerful.

Rells reading:

  • Should all things continue as they are, he will be victorious, according to Tsu.
  • He connects The Star and The Emperor to Lor'olei and Mazikoth.

They notice Vansel, the satyr they saved from Bavlorna's kitchen, playing cards with his friends on their way to barter with Felsa, the Gnome trader.

10 makes a pitstop at the bar to order 2lbs of bacon.

Felsa, the Gnome trader

He has various rings and necklaces laid out before him, ready for barter. He basically explains he isn't interested in gold, but wants other items or powerful things. Veer can tell Felsa has more than what's on the table and persuades the gnome to show the rest of his goods.

10 barters for the Ring of Water Walking, right away. (1 magic xbow bolt, and I forgot the other thing).

The party continues to attempt to barter, but Felsa isn't interested in minor trinkets, Ophelia gets sassy and walks over to the fire, where she sees Ellywick Tumblestrum sitting on the couch next to her toad, Groak, playing her lute.

Veer begins to barter with Felsa and the gnome explains if someone trades him something of great value for one of his items, the gnome can attempt to turn it into a specific magical item of the person's choosing. But it comes at a cost: It can fail. But the odds can be increased by the value of the item traded into Felsa.

Veer trades in his Signet ring for The Bead of Force. Felsa does his magic, tapping into something of a demonic nature, he appears to grow a little older, but is successful. Veer obtains a Ring of Protection +2.

10 wanders off and collects her bacon. The barkeep puts the bacon in a paperbag for 10. With her bacon, she joins Ophelia and they braid each other's hair. Ophelia does such an amazing job on 10's hair, it ends up clean and smelling of flower while being the most intricate design seen to all elvenkind.

Rell barters with Felsa for Enspelled Armor. He trades in his dragon horn and a Potion of Heroism for the Necklace of Adaptation. Felsa taps into the magic again. The spell is failing, but with the guidance of the universe, he manages to succeed. Rell gives Kiros the Enspelled Armor.

Ellywick Tumblestrum

The party begins to converse with Ellywick, attempting to uncover as much info as they can.

• She is a planeswalker.
  • As a result of winning a card game with a demon, she was able to pull from a magic deck of cards and was granted a Wish. She wished to never be stuck.
• She travels through time.
  • She carries a blue book full of notes, that are written in music.
• She remembers Zybilna being frozen, but not.
• She remembers herself being frozen, but not.
• She will not interfere.
• She is unsure where she is in the party's timeline.
